United Hosting UPRT Summit

Apr 24, 2019

United Airlines, a Flight Safety Foundation Benefactor member, is hosting a summit on upset prevention and recovery training (UPRT) next month in Denver. The UPRT Global Summit is scheduled for May 21–22 and will be held at United’s Flight Training Center.

The event will feature keynote speakers, panels, workshops, breakout meetings and networking sessions that “focus on inspiring aviation safety across the globe,” according to organizers. Scheduled speakers include representatives from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, the National Transportation Safety Board, major airlines and others with UPRT expertise.

The target audience includes professionals “who can make a difference in mitigating UPRT threats through training, sharing information and best practices.”
