FSF Business Aviation Award Nominations Closing Soon

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia – Flight Safety Foundation is seeking nominations for the 2019 FSF Business Aviation Meritorious Service Award. This award has been presented by the Foundation since 1975 for outstanding service and contributions to business aviation safety. The award recognizes individuals whose work enhances safety in this segment of the industry. Recipients have included industry leaders, government officials, members of the news media and researchers whose findings were especially relevant to business aviation. More information is available on the Foundation’s website.

The deadline for nominations is Friday, March 22, 2019. The award will be presented at the 64th Business Aviation Safety Summit, May 2-3, 2019, in Denver. Download the 2019 Business Aviation Meritorious Service Award nomination form for more information.

John S. Duncan, deputy associate administrator for Aviation Safety at the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), will be the opening keynote speaker at BASS 2019. Duncan, who is the co-leader of the organization within the FAA that is responsible for setting, overseeing and enforcing safety standards for all aspects of the aviation industry, is scheduled to speak on Thursday morning, May 2, the first day of the two-day event.
