BASS 2020 Canceled

Mar 17, 2020

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia — Flight Safety Foundation regrets to announce that it is canceling this year’s Business Aviation Safety Summit (BASS 2020), which had been scheduled for April 29−30 in Savannah, Georgia, U.S. The decision was made in the interest of the health and well-being of attendees, sponsors, exhibitors and Foundation staff.

The difficult decision to cancel what would have been the 65th BASS was made after careful consideration of the latest information from the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and in consultation with the Foundation’s Business Advisory Committee (BAC) and its BASS partner, the National Business Aviation Association.

The BAC and the Foundation’s staff continue to consider alternative methods, such as virtual meeting spaces and online activities, to deliver the programmed BASS content. More information will be available in the coming weeks.
