The pilot was preparing to land a Cessna U206G at an airport in Canada’s Yukon when the engine lost power; as the pilot tried to restart the engine and then began a 180-degree turn toward the runway, the airplane stalled and crashed.
One passenger was killed, the pilot and four other passengers were injured, and the airplane was substantially damaged in the June 10, 2024, accident at Haines Junction Aerodrome, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) said in its final report.
