Flight Safety Foundation is offering two opportunities in the coming weeks to gather with your aviation colleagues and discuss safety-related topics over a meal.
If you work in the Washington area or plan to be in the area on June 25, please consider attending a Foundation-sponsored luncheon event featuring U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Chairman Robert Sumwalt and Kathy Fox, chair of the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB).
Sumwalt and Fox will be discussing emerging safety issues across various modes of transportation, not just aviation, and also will talk about the importance of international cooperation. The discussion, which will include time for input and questions from the audience, will be moderated by Peggy Gilligan, former associate administrator for aviation safety at the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration and current member of the Foundation’s Board of Governors.
