TSB Chair Weighs in on Swissair Flight 111 Accident 20 Years Later

Oct 12, 2018

At the 2018 International Air Safety Summit (IASS), the premier aviation safety summit, Flight Safety Foundation will have the pleasure of introducing Kathy Fox, former vice president of Operations at NAV Canada and current chair of the Transportation Safety Board (TSB) of Canada, to this year’s attendees. Fox has dedicated many years to aviation, beginning her career in air traffic control and working up the ranks to VP. She will discuss the many improvements to aircraft cabin safety in honor of the 20-year anniversary of the Swissair accident in Nova Scotia. The Swissair accident remains the one of the most extensive investigations ever undertaken by the TSB.

Information on the event including registration and more program details are available on the IASS website
