The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB)’s initial investigation of an Oct. 11 fatal accident involving a Piper PA 34 Seneca in East Hartford, Conn., “indicates the crash is the result an intentional act,” NTSB said in a statement. As a result, NTSB said was transferring the lead for the investigation to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
According to media reports, the student pilot flying the plane was killed and a flight instructor was injured in teh accident.
