Flight Safety Foundation Hires New Director of Publications/Editor in Chief

Alexandria, VA, April 17, 2012 — Flight Safety Foundation (FSF) announced today that Frank Jackman has joined the staff as the Director of Publications and Editor in Chief of AeroSafety World as of April 9, 2012.

“Frank will be a wonderful addition to our staff,” commented FSF CEO William R. Voss. “His years of experience at McGraw-Hill as an aviation journalist in a wide range of media will make him a perfect fit in his new role at the Foundation.

Prior to joining FSF, Mr. Jackman spent almost 25 years with McGraw-Hill at several different aviation publications. His most recent positions had been Managing Editor, Civil Aviation of Aviation Week Intelligence Network and Editor of Aviation Daily Market Briefing.

“Now that ASW is well established as an industry-leading publication, we look forward to what comes next for the magazine. Frank knows the industry and we are certain that his vision for the magazine will be very positive for its future growth and importance in the aviation community,” Voss continued.
