Beginning on page 12 [of the printed edition], you’ll find an article that our editorial team titled, perhaps rather grandly, “Top 10 Safety Issues.” My idea behind this admittedly subjective project was not to attempt a data-driven, statistically valid study of the most pressing aviation safety issues, but rather informally to take the pulse of Flight Safety Foundation members, AeroSafety World readers and a broad swath of other industry leaders, stakeholders and organizations. We wanted to be influenced, heading into 2015, by what is on your mind and what you think is important.
