The A318 pilots apparently were head down, preparing for their arrival at Bordeaux, France, the morning of June 2, 2010, when they felt a strange motion — similar to slow roll oscillations of about five degrees — that lasted for about 5 seconds.
“Seeing nothing abnormal on their primary flight displays, they carried on with the preparation for the arrival,” said the report by the French Bureau d’Enquêtes et d’Analyses.
