It has been a year since I came on board at the Foundation. I’ve had the opportunity to engage with our members and stakeholders around the world to gain a better understanding of what we can do together to continue to advance global aviation safety. It has been a great journey so far, and I am thankful to our members who have helped me during my transition. I am happy to report that we had a great year in 2019 in terms of direction for the Foundation, and I’d like to highlight a number of accomplishments.
First, the Foundation developed a high-level strategic plan that sets the direction for the next five years. We will be publishing key goals on our website, and we call upon all of our members to assist us in achieving those goals.
